Five events. Two countries. A fresh set of fantasy decisions at every gate drop.
AUSX Fantasy returns for 2026 as FastMoto continues its partnership with AUSX, bringing fans another season of free fantasy supercross alongside the Boost Mobile AUSX Supercross Championship presented by Monster Energy.
With the season opening in Townsville on Saturday, 3 October, it’s time to start thinking like a team manager. Who earns a place in your lineup? Who gets the double-points call? And which rider could deliver the result everyone else overlooks?
Whether you’re a returning contender or picking your first fantasy team, the challenge is the same: build a smart lineup, back your decisions and see how you stack up against other supercross fans.
A continued partnership that puts fans in the race
FastMoto and AUSX are teaming up again to bring the racing closer to the fans through AUSX Fantasy.
The partnership gives supporters a way to follow more than the battle for the podium. A rider charging through the pack, a privateer exceeding expectations or a well-timed double-points pick can all give you another reason to watch closely.
You don’t need to be a supercross expert to get involved. Sign up for free, get familiar with the rider list and start building your team when selections open.
A new-look AUSX season The 2026 AUSX calendar takes the series across Australia and New Zealand, starting under lights at Queensland Country Bank Stadium in Townsville and finishing in Newcastle.
| Event | Location | Date |
|---|---|---|
| Season opener | Townsville, QLD | 3 October 2026 |
| Event 2 | Auckland, NZ | 31 October 2026 |
| AUSX Open | Geelong, VIC | 7 November 2026 |
| Event 4 | Perth, WA | 14 November 2026 |
| Grand final | Newcastle, NSW | 28 November 2026 |
Auckland and Perth add fresh settings to the season, while the AUSX Open heads to Geelong’s GMHBA Stadium. For fantasy players, the changing venues and round-specific rider appearances make checking each event’s lineup an essential part of preparation.
Big names. Interesting fantasy decisions.
The latest rider announcements have already given fans plenty to talk about.
Savatgy returns to chase another title. The 2024 AUSX SX1 champion is back with Factory Honda, whose announced lineup also includes defending champion Dean Wilson, Christian Craig and Nathan Crawford. That depth sets up an intriguing battle—and some difficult fantasy choices.
McAdoo adds more firepower to SX2. AMA race winner Cameron McAdoo has signed for the 2026 AUSX season. His arrival adds another established international contender to weigh up when planning your team.
Anstie is confirmed for Townsville. Two-time World Supercross SX2 champion Max Anstie will line up with MXRP Yamaha at the opener. His Australian title-winning experience makes him a name to watch, with his announcement specifically covering Townsville.
More international stars arrive later in the season. Ken Roczen and Cole Davies are announced for Auckland and Geelong, while Jo Shimoda is set to make his 450cc supercross debut at Geelong and also race Perth. Check the published rider list for each fantasy round before making your selections.
The fantasy question isn’t simply “Who is the fastest?” It’s “Who can deliver the best return with their handicap?” A headline name may feel like the obvious pick, but the right rider further down the list could make the difference.
New to AUSX Fantasy? Here’s how to play
1. Sign up for free. Head to fastmotofantasy.com and create your account. Returning players can log in with their existing account. 2. Build your SX1 and SX2 teams. Review the available riders and their handicaps, then complete your selections in both classes. 3. Choose your double-points riders. Nominate a FastMoto Rider (FMR) in each class. Their points are doubled, making this one of your biggest decisions. 4. Save before lockout. Check the countdown on the platform and make sure your teams are submitted before selections close. 5. Follow the racing and your fantasy results. See how your picks perform, compare your score with other players and prepare for the next event.
First-time tip: Look beyond the biggest names. Handicaps bring strategy into team selection, so consider form, consistency and who could outperform expectations. Use the platform’s How It Works guide to get familiar with the scoring before locking in.
Rider List Thursdays: Your race-week preparation starts here
The opening-round rider lists and handicaps will be live by Thursday, 1 October, for Rider List Thursdays (RLT).
That’s your cue to open the list, compare your options and start shaping your Townsville lineup. Who looks strong with their handicap? Which rider deserves your double-points pick? Where could you gain an edge by backing someone other players overlook?
Use RLT to start your research, then check for any rider updates before lockout. A smart first draft is good. A saved team that reflects the latest information is better.
