Spring Creek Pro Motocross - Millville Fantasy MX Round 7 Rip It Ron Preview

🏍️ Intro

Hey legends, it’s your boy Ron here, rolling into Millville absolutely buzzing for Round 7 at Spring Creek!

We’ve got deep ruts, sand whoops, and Hard Charger scoring cooking all at once, so this is a week to stack your squad with movers, not just names. Let’s break down who’s gonna rail these hills and print fantasy points for you.

📍 Round Overview — Millville Madness

Spring Creek Motocross Park is one of those tracks that just exposes who’s got real outdoor game.

  • Layout vibes: big elevation changes, long sweeping corners, deep sand whoops along the creek, and ruts that’ll swallow a front wheel if you get lazy.
  • Riding style: you need balance — sand chops like Southwick, but also classic loamy uphills and technical downhills where line choice matters.
  • Race dynamics: long uphills reward horsepower and momentum, the sand whoops and creekside sections reward fitness and aggression late in the moto.
  • Fantasy angle: this is a Hard Charger paradise. As the track gets choppy and riders fade, the strong late-moto chargers can pick off 3–6 riders and stack bonus points.

Historically, Spring Creek has delivered varied winners and plenty of chaos — especially in the 250s where nine different riders have won the last nine overalls. Expect position swings, especially second half of motos.

Spring Creek Pro Motocross 2026

💥 450 Class Breakdown — Sand Whoops & Senders

Jett Lawrence (#1, +0 HCP)

Look, Ron’s been wrong before, but betting against Jett at a gnarly outdoor national is still playing with fire.

Why he’s in play:

  • 27.5pts/main average with 4.8 Avg HC/Rnd despite basically starting up front most of the time.
  • Recent scores: 29, 20, 26.5 — even his “off” days are still rock-solid fantasy rounds.
  • Spring Creek historically rewards elite technique and composure; that’s literally Jett’s brand.

Fantasy read: at +0 HCP, he doesn’t get a free bump, but his floor is incredibly high and he rarely goes backwards, which protects you from Hard Charger penalties. Ideal as your stable 450 anchor.

Jett Lawrence - Millville Pro Motocross 2025

Haiden Deegan (#38, +1 HCP)

Deegs steps up to the big bike in our data set and he’s bringing pure Hard Charger juice with him.

Numbers that pop:

  • 28.1pts/main average — best of the true title contenders here.
  • 10.8 Avg HC/Rnd — that’s massive; dude is constantly moving forward from his gate pick.
  • Recent: 23.5, 34, 26.5 — he’s had ceiling rounds that absolutely torch this field.

Why Millville fits:

  • This weekend marks his 90th consecutive SMX League start — he just does not miss races.
  • Career-best 2nd in Moto 2 at Southwick shows he’s legit in the sand and late-moto pace.

Fantasy read: with +1 HCP and huge Hard Charger upside, Deegan is exactly the profile you want to strap the 2x FastMoto Rider tag to in 450s. Ceiling + durability.

Garrett Marchbanks (#36, +4 HCP)

Marchbanks is the quiet assassin of this 450 group.

Data check:

  • 26.7pts/main with 7.7 Avg HC/Rnd — he’s not just scoring, he’s gaining spots.
  • Trend: up — 27.5 → 30.5 → 33 over the last three rounds.
  • At Southwick, he went 5–5 behind the same elite top 5 all day; that kind of steadiness plus a +4 HCP is gold.

Why Millville works:

  • Heavy track suits his size and strength; he powers through ruts and sand when others fade.
  • With Honda and KTM usually at the pointy end, Marchbanks often starts a tick further back, which sets up natural Hard Charger gains without needing chaos.

Fantasy read: he screams top-5 adjusted finishes with consistent +HC upside. Core main squad guy for me.

Mitchell Harrison (#41, +14 HCP)

This is where we start hunting value and Hard Charger bonuses.

The numbers:

  • 29.8pts/main — the best raw average in the 450 field this week.
  • 12.7 Avg HC/Rnd — tied for the best HC profile in the entire class.
  • Recent: 31, 32, 25.5 with a stable “same” trend.

Why that matters at Spring Creek:

  • +14 HCP means an actual 18th on track becomes roughly 4th adjusted — that’s insane leverage.
  • His strong HC record tells us he’s likely qualifying mid-pack, then charging through lappers and blown-out lines late in motos.

Fantasy read: with that combo of +14 HCP and elite Hard Charger points, Harrison is arguably the best value-adjusted 450 play on the slate. He’s locked into my 450 mains.

Hunter Lawrence (#96, +0 HCP)

Hunter doesn’t have the flashiest Hard Charger stat, but his consistency is outrageous.

Facts:

  • 25.3pts/main with just 0.5 Avg HC/Rnd — he basically starts where he finishes.
  • 22 career 450MX starts and 22 top-five finishes — that’s absurd reliability.
  • At Southwick, he was fastest in Moto 2 and has led 8 of the first 12 motos this season.

Why that helps at Millville:

  • Spring Creek rewards guys who can grind at the front in heavy conditions without mistakes.
  • His low HC number is actually a feature for a reserve pick: he doesn’t yo-yo through the field, so you avoid big negative HC swings.

Fantasy read: Hunter is the perfect reserve450 safety net — if things get sketchy with your higher-risk plays, you bring in one of the most reliable top-5 guys in the sport.

🔥 250 Class Breakdown — Millville Mixers

The 250s at Spring Creek are always chaos: nine different riders have taken the last nine overalls here. In fantasy terms, that means don’t lock into only the “big name” podium guys — you want Hard Chargers and plus HCP weapons.

Kayden Minear (#99, +3 HCP)

Career day at Southwick wasn’t a fluke — Minear’s profile screams “perfect Millville pick.”

Check this out:

  • 28.8pts/main, the highest 250 average this round.
  • 12.7 Avg HC/Rnd, tied with the best HC profile in the class.
  • Recent: 39, 24.5, 21.5 — we’ve seen the true ceiling and it’s huge.
  • Southwick: tied or beat his career bests in qualifying (6th), moto (3rd), and overall (4th).

Track fit:

  • Strong in sand sections and clearly building confidence every round.
  • +3 HCP means he doesn’t need a podium to deliver a podium-level adjusted score.

Fantasy read: high ceiling, big-time Hard Charger, and trending as a legit contender. He’s in all serious squads this week.

Levi Kitchen (#47, +1 HCP)

Kitchen is the model of 250 consistency so far this season.

Key stats:

  • 26.8pts/main with a monster 13.3 Avg HC/Rnd — the best HC number in the class.
  • Only rider to finish top 5 in all six rounds this year.
  • +59 net positions gained over 12 motos — dude is constantly slicing through the pack.

Why Spring Creek works:

  • European-style elevation and off-cambers (similar to High Point characteristics) suit his smooth, technical style.
  • As the track gets choppy and rutted, Kitchen’s late-moto pace will have him eating lappers for breakfast and stacking HC points.

Fantasy read: he’s got both safety and Hard Charger upside, but with +1 HCP and elite HC numbers, he’s tailor-made to be your fmr250 2x points hammer.

Chance Hymas (#29, +5 HCP)

Hymas is slowly but surely turning into a fantasy monster.

Data rundown:

  • 26.3pts/main with 12.7 Avg HC/Rnd — right up there with Minear on HC output.
  • Recent: 25.5, 22.5, 28 — that’s a solid upward trend.
  • Season-best 6th overall last round and four straight rounds of improved overall scores.

Millville angle:

  • +5 HCP gives him a ton of cushion; a real-world 8th can easily translate to top-3 adjusted.
  • Strong fitness and building confidence mean he’ll keep charging in the gnarly late-race Millville chop.

Fantasy read: Hymas combines a juicy HCP, strong Hard Charger profile, and improving form — premium main-squad play.

Jo Shimoda (#30, +0 HCP)

Shimoda’s average doesn’t fully show the ceiling he brings.

The profile:

  • 24.3pts/main with an impressive 13 Avg HC/Rnd.
  • Recent: 0, 31.5, 23.5 — the zero drags his average, but when he’s on the bike and in rhythm, he rips through the pack.

Why he matters at Millville:

  • Technical track with deep ruts and long motos suits his smooth, patient style.
  • No HCP bonus, but the huge HC average tells us he often starts deeper and then mows guys down — perfect for Hard Charger scoring.

Fantasy read: Slightly higher risk than the +HCP kids, but the upside is undeniable. Great main option if you’re willing to embrace some volatility.

Russell Buccheri (#140, +22 HCP)

Time to talk about the sneaky Millville gold.

The numbers that matter:

  • 25.9pts/main — that’s legit top-tier.
  • +22 HCP is absolutely massive.
  • 4.5 Avg HC/Rnd — not as wild as the front guys, but still positive, meaning he tends to go forward, not back.
  • Recent: 36, 26.5, 27.5 with an up trend.

Why this is spicy:

  • At +22 HCP, a 20th on track can be adjusted into the top-10 range. Anything better than that and you’re printing.
  • He’s clearly trending the right way, and his HC profile is positive — that’s exactly what you want from a value pick: big HCP, not bleeding HC points.

Fantasy read: Buccheri is exactly the kind of high-HCP, positive HC guy that can win or lose a round. He’s firmly on my radar as a value main.

💡 Sleeper Picks of the Week

450 Sleeper — Justin Rodbell (#83, +23 HCP)

Rodbell is the kind of pick that makes your friends call you crazy… right up until the app updates the scores.

Why I like it:

  • 19.9pts/main with 1.3 Avg HC/Rnd — modest HC, but crucially, it’s positive.
  • Recent: 31, 10, 33 with an up trend — two big rounds in the last three.
  • +23 HCP gives him enormous adjusted-position potential.

Millville read: if he keeps it upright and runs around 18–20th on track, he can sneak into high adjusted scores, especially if others fade or DNF in the sand whoops.

250 Sleeper — Marshal Weltin (#65, +19 HCP)

Weltin is your blue-collar fantasy hero this week.

Stats check:

  • 24.3pts/main with a strong 9 Avg HC/Rnd.
  • Recent: 21, 25.5, 25 — super steady mid–high 20s production.
  • +19 HCP is a big bump on top of positive HC movement.

Why Millville suits him:

  • Tough conditions and long motos reward grinders — that’s exactly his lane.
  • His HC numbers say he typically out-races his gate pick, which is exactly what you need with such a big HCP.

Fantasy angle: not flashy, but sneaky-good floor and upside. Perfect for value hunters who want to differentiate from the big-name stacks.

📝 Ron’s FastMoto Fantasy Team Sheet

Here’s how I’m lining up my squad for Spring Creek, balancing raw speed, Hard Charger juice, and HCP value.

450 Squad

  • Main 450 #1 – Haiden Deegan (#38, +1 HCP)
Elite average, 10.8 Avg HC/Rnd, and proven sand speed. Perfect profile for a big Millville.

  • Main 450 #2 – Garrett Marchbanks (#36, +4 HCP)
Trending up hard with 7.7 Avg HC/Rnd and a helpful +4 HCP. Safe and explosive.

  • Main 450 #3 – Mitchell Harrison (#41, +14 HCP)
    29.8pts/main and 12.7 Avg HC/Rnd with +14 HCP — absurd value; must-start.

  • FMR 450 (2x) – Jett Lawrence (#1, +0 HCP)
Best blend of floor and ceiling; even without HCP he piles on points and doesn’t hemorrhage HC. Deegan’s the wild upside play, but Jett is my anchor 2x in this deep field.

  • Reserve 450 – Hunter Lawrence (#96, +0 HCP)
22-for-22 in 450MX top fives and rock-solid HC neutrality. The ultimate safety pick if chaos hits one of your mains.

250 Squad

  • Main 250 #1 – Kayden Minear (#99, +3 HCP)
    Class-leading 28.8pts/main and 12.7 Avg HC/Rnd with a friendly +3 HCP. Core play.

  • Main 250 #2 – Chance Hymas (#29, +5 HCP)
Big HC output, +5 HCP, and four straight improved rounds. Trending into “set and forget” territory.

  • Main 250 #3 – Russell Buccheri (#140, +22 HCP)
Up-trending, solid average, and a monster +22 HCP. Huge adjusted-position upside if he just rides to form.

  • FMR 250 (2x) – Levi Kitchen (#47, +1 HCP)
Best Hard Charger in the class (13.3 Avg HC/Rnd) and only rider with top-5s at every round. Perfect 2x weapon at a track that rewards late-moto charges.

  • Reserve 250 – Jo Shimoda (#30, +0 HCP)
Volatile, but with 13 Avg HC/Rnd he’s a terrifyingly good backup. If he stays off the ground, he can single-handedly flip your round.

🤙 Signing Off

This is THE round, legends — deep sand, big hills, and Hard Charger scoring all screaming at you to pick guys who keep charging when the rest of the field is gassed.

Tighten those goggles, lock in the squad, and don’t be scared to send it on a couple of high-HCP chargers. See you at the finish line — Ron 🏍️
