Budds Creek Recap: Hunter Sweeps, Miller Scores 80 and Bhamm41 Wins Round 10

Hunter Lawrence swept Budds Creek to reclaim the 450 red plate, Chance Hymas became the seventh different 250 winner of the season, and the championship fights tightened ahead of Ironman.

In FastMoto Fantasy, Henry Miller delivered a perfect 40–40 performance to lead the 250 class, Benny Bloss topped the 450 scoring, and Bhamm41 conquered a difficult Round 10 with 572 points.

Hunter Sweeps and Reclaims the Red Plate

After surrendering the championship lead at Unadilla, Hunter Lawrence delivered the perfect response at Budds Creek.

Hunter won both 450 motos, added the second-moto holeshot and finished the round with 62 FastMoto points. More importantly, the 1–1 sweep transformed a 10-point championship deficit into a one-point advantage over Jett Lawrence.

Jett recovered from fifth in the opening moto to finish second in Moto 2. His 5–2 result earned 61 FastMoto points—only one fewer than Hunter—but left him trailing 442–441 with two motos remaining.

Jorge Prado completed the overall podium with a consistent 3–3, while Haiden Deegan’s 2–4 put him fourth overall in another impressive 450 appearance. Mikkel Haarup rounded out the top five with an 8–5.

Hunter and Jett now head to Ironman separated by a single point. Whichever brother performs best in the final two motos will almost certainly leave with the championship.

Hymas Wins as the 250 Championship Swings

The 250 class produced its seventh different overall winner of 2026—a new series record—as Chance Hymas went 2–1 to capture his first victory of the season and the third overall win of his career.

Cole Davies won the opening moto and backed it up with third in Moto 2. His 1–3 score placed him second overall and, crucially, gave him control of the championship heading into Ironman.

Levi Kitchen’s afternoon was considerably more complicated. A first-lap crash, lost tear-offs and a four-position penalty for going beyond the track limits left him classified 14th in Moto 1. Kitchen rebounded to finish second in the final moto, but the damage had already been done.

Davies turned a one-point deficit into a 14-point championship lead. The standings now read Davies 378, Kitchen 364, with only two motos remaining.

Behind them, Landen Gordon delivered the breakout ride of the round. His 3–7 earned third overall and the first overall podium of his professional career. Julien Beaumer went 8–4 for fourth, while Kitchen salvaged fifth overall.

250 Fantasy: Miller Delivers a Perfect 40–40

Henry Miller was the standout fantasy rider at Budds Creek.

Working with a 20-position handicap, Miller scored exactly 40 points in each moto. He combined maximum adjusted-position points with 15 hard-charger points on both occasions, producing a class-leading total of 80.

Hunter Yoder finished only one point behind. Yoder scored 39 in Moto 1 and 40 in Moto 2, using 29 combined hard-charger points to reach 79 for the round.

Austin Schafer completed the fantasy podium with 75. His 35-position handicap generated maximum base points in both motos, while gains of 14 and 11 positions added another 25 hard-charger points.

Leum Oehlhof and Nico Israel followed with 70 and 67 respectively, giving the 250 leaderboard a distinctly privateer-heavy look.

Hymas combined his Moto 2 victory with the holeshot bonus to score 35 in the final moto. Pierce Brown also produced one of the rides of the round, charging to sixth in Moto 2 and collecting 24 hard-charger points for a 40-point score.

Marshal Weltin recorded the biggest single-moto total in the class. An 18th-place finish from 40th at the start generated 22 hard-charger points and a massive 47-point opening moto. A three-point second moto, however, limited him to 50 overall.

The round also demonstrated how quickly a strong score can disappear. Carson Mumford scored 39 in Moto 1 after finishing fourth, but a difficult second moto dropped his weekend total to 11. Dilan Schwartz went from 36 points in the opener to minus 12 in Moto 2, while Ryder DiFrancesco followed a 28-point start with minus 16.

450 Fantasy: Bloss Beats the Factory Stars

The fastest riders on the track did not occupy the top of the 450 fantasy leaderboard.

Benny Bloss claimed the highest 450 score with 71 points. Bloss earned 37 in Moto 1 after gaining 21 positions, then added another 34 in Moto 2. His combination of handicap value, hard-charger points and consistency made him the class’s most productive fantasy selection.

Christian Craig and Garrett Marchbanks tied on 69. Craig gained eight positions in the opening moto and 11 in the second, while Marchbanks produced hard-charger scores of 11 and eight.

Hamden Hudson and Zach Osborne also tied, each finishing on 67. Hudson scored 38 in the opening moto, while Osborne’s maximum handicap base and steady forward movement produced 34–33.

Magnus Smith was next with 66, one point ahead of Jeremy Hand.

Hunter’s second-moto holeshot bonus lifted his fantasy score to 35, but the handicap system kept him behind several value riders despite his perfect real-world result.

Deegan also benefited from a holeshot bonus in Moto 1, scoring 34 before adding 25 in the second. Jett’s hard-charger points—13 in Moto 1 and nine in Moto 2—helped him edge Deegan by two points for the round.

Bhamm41 Wins Round 10

Bhamm41 mastered the changing conditions and difficult fantasy board to win Round 10 with 572 points.

The victory came by eight points over ANAnthony, who finished second on 564. Australian player dbo secured the final podium position with 561, two points ahead of Dragmedickalong.

Only 29 points separated first from tenth, highlighting how closely matched the leading teams were at Budds Creek.

Australia and the United States each placed four players inside the top 10, with Canada represented by runner-up ANAnthony.

Portugal claimed the top-country honour with an average of 535 points.

Combined Championship: gityourown Remains in Control

Budds Creek created plenty of movement behind championship leader gityourown, but the top position remains secure.

gityourown scored 503 points and now sits on 9,905 across Supercross, Motocross and the SMX Finals allocation—a 329-point advantage over the field.

LW7 was one of the major beneficiaries of Round 10. A 536-point score moved the Australian up three positions to second overall on 9,576.

Tallon711 is only five points further back in third, setting up an exceptionally close fight for the runner-up position. Mrs_307carver and clayton123 complete the top five, separated by only six points.

Round podium finisher dbo made the biggest move inside the championship top 10, climbing seven positions to seventh overall.

The championship leader has breathing room, but the battle behind is wide open. Only 127 points separate second-place LW7 from tenth-place Bucko57.

One Round Remains

Ironman will decide both Pro Motocross championships before the focus shifts to the SMX Finals.

The 450 title could hardly be closer, with Hunter Lawrence carrying a one-point advantage over Jett. In the 250 class, Cole Davies has a 14-point buffer, but Levi Kitchen has already shown that he can erase a significant deficit in a single afternoon.

For FastMoto players, the final handicaps will be critical. Miller, Yoder, Schafer, Bloss, Craig and Marchbanks were the biggest Budds Creek scorers, but strong performances could reduce their value at Ironman. Riders such as Landen Gordon, Mikkel Haarup, Drew Adams and Michael Mosiman will also demand attention after producing promising results or recovery rides.
