FastMoto Fantasy just levelled up.
We’ve introduced an all-new scoring feature — Hard Charger Points (HC) — designed to reward one of the most exciting parts of motocross and supercross racing: riders charging through the pack.
This isn’t just another stat… it’s a strategic weapon.
What Are Hard Charger (HC) Points?
Hard Charger Points reward riders based on how many positions they gain or lose during a race.
Gain positions = + points Lose positions = – points
It’s simple: 1 position = 1 fantasy point
So if your rider moves forward through the field, you’re stacking points. If they go backwards… you’re losing them.
How It Works
Hard Charger Points are calculated by comparing:
Holeshot Position → Final Finish Position
Example:
- Holeshot Position 18th, finished 6th → +12 points
- Holeshot Position 5th, finished 15th → –10 points
These points are tracked across all mains in a round and contribute directly to your total fantasy score.

Why It Matters

The Strategy Behind It
The smartest FastMoto players will start looking for:
Poor Qualifiers with Race Pace
Riders who qualify badly but have strong race speed are prime targets.
- Bad qualifying = poor gate pick
- Poor gate pick = mid-pack start
- Mid-pack start = opportunity to gain positions
That’s where the points are.

Hard Charger Points cut both ways.
If your rider:
- Gets a great start…
- Then makes mistakes…
- Or (we’ve all seen it) pulls a “Sexton front tuck”…
You’re going backwards — and so are your points.
This system rewards aggressive, smart racecraft… but punishes inconsistency.
