What is Fantasy Supercross?

Fantasy supercross and motocross is a game where you build your own team of real-world riders competing in events like the AMA Supercross Championship and Pro Motocross Championship.

Each round, your selected riders earn points based on how they perform on track — including race finishes, bonuses, and position gains.

The goal? 👉 Score more points than other players and climb the leaderboard.

Platforms like PulpMX Fantasy helped bring fantasy motocross into the spotlight, but FastMoto take things further with deeper strategy and more ways to score.

How FastMoto Fantasy Works

FastMoto Fantasy is built to give you more control, more strategy, and more ways to win.

Here’s the basic flow:

• Create your account (free or premium)
• Enter the My Team section
• Pick your riders for the upcoming round
• Lock your team before race time
• Watch the race and track your points live via our Live Timing War Room

You can adjust your strategy based on:

• Rider form
• Track conditions
• Injuries
• Qualifying results

It’s not just luck — it’s strategy every single round.

Team Selection Basics

Building your team is where the game really starts.

In FastMoto, in each class (250cc/450cc) you’ll typically select: 4 Main Riders 1 Reserve Rider (Only contributes points if a main rider scores 0 or below points) 1 FastMoto Rider (your double-points pick)

Key Tips for Beginners:

1. Balance risk vs consistency Don’t stack your team with only top riders — value picks matter.

2. Pay attention to qualifying Bad qualifying = more opportunity to gain positions (and points with the Hard Charger points). Good qualifying = solid gate pick for a chance at the holeshot bonus.

3. Use your Reserve wisely If one rider scores zero, your reserve can step in. So this can save your team if you pick wisely.

4. Choose your FastMoto Rider carefully This rider earns double points, so it can make or break your round.

Fantasy Supercross Scoring Explained

This is where things get exciting.

Your riders score points based on real race performance.

Core scoring includes:

• Finish Position Points (e.g. 1st = highest score)
• FastMoto Rider Multiplier (2x points)
• Holeshot Bonus (for grabbing the start)
• Position Changes (Hard Charger Points)

🔥 What Are Hard Charger Points?

One of the biggest game-changers in FastMoto.

Instead of just rewarding finishing position, FastMoto also rewards riders who fight through the pack.

Example: A riders position at the holeshot line is 18th Finishes 8th 👉 Gains +10 positions = +10 points

BUT…

If a rider goes backwards: You lose points A riders position at the holeshot line is 1st (holeshotter) Finishes 5th 👉 Gains -5 positions = -5 points So this rider would get 10 bonus points for the holeshot, but loses -5 points for positions lost thereafter.

This creates a huge strategic layer: Do you pick safe riders? Or gamble on comeback rides?

That’s where fantasy championships are won.

Here is example points for Eli Tomac for a Triple Crown Supercross. 3 Main events, 'HS' is the holeshot bonus, 'HC' is the Hard Charger points for positions gained/lost and his points are doubled being the FastMoto Rider (FMR)

*And for Jo Shimoda, he finished 4th with a hdanicap of +1 (adj. pos. 3rd = base pts 20pts), 'HC' is -2 = TOTAL 18pts *
