Welcome to FastMoto Fantasy - Pro Motocross Fantasy kicks off at Fox Raceway, Pala, CA

New to FastMoto Fantasy? You’re in the right place.

The good news is, it’s actually really simple.

You don’t need to be a fantasy sports expert. You don’t need to know every privateer on the gate. You don’t need to spend hours studying spreadsheets.

You just need to jump in, pick your team and get ready for the weekend.

Pro Motocross kicks off at Round 1, Fox Raceway, and if you’re new to FastMoto, here’s the simple version of what you need to do.

Step 1: Join FastMoto for free

First, create your free FastMoto account.

Step 2: Go to “My Team”

Once you’re logged in, click on My Team. This is where you build your fantasy squad for the round.

For Pro Motocross, you’ll pick riders across both classes:

  • 5x 250 riders
  • 5x 450 riders

That’s your main team.

Step 3: Choose your FastMoto Rider

After you’ve picked your riders, you’ll need to choose 1x FastMoto Rider in each class.

Your FastMoto Rider, also known as your FMR, is selected by clicking the lightning bolt icon next to the rider. This rider will score double-points.

You’ll choose:

  • 1x 250 FastMoto Rider
  • 1x 450 FastMoto Rider

Your FMR is an important pick, so choose wisely.

Step 4: Click “Save Team”

Once your riders are selected and your FastMoto Riders are locked in, hit: Save Team

That’s it.

You’re done.

How the FastMoto handicap system works

FastMoto uses a handicap system to make the game more strategic. The easiest way to think about it is like a golf handicap.

Instead of only rewarding the riders who finish at the very front, FastMoto gives riders a handicap based on their average finish position. This creates a rider’s "fantasy scoring" position.

Here’s a simple example.

If Chase Sexton has a +10 handicap and finishes 15th, his fantasy scoring position becomes 5th.

15th minus 10 handicap spots = 5th fantasy position points.

If Jett Lawrence has a 0 handicap and finishes 3rd, his fantasy scoring position stays 3rd.

No handicap adjustment. He scores from where he finishes.

Why does FastMoto use handicaps?

Because it makes the whole field matter.

Instead of everyone just picking the same top five riders every weekend, the handicap system makes mid-pack and rear-pack riders relevant.

That’s where the strategy comes in.

The best FastMoto players are not just picking the biggest names. They’re looking for the high-handicap sleepers. Riders who might not win the race, but can finish on par with their handicap or outperform it.

That’s how you find value.

That’s how you climb the leaderboard.
