2026 RedBud Pro Motocross Recap - Loads of Fantasy MX Points on Offer

RedBud delivered exactly what we expected from one of the biggest weekends on the Pro Motocross calendar: huge crowds, changing track conditions, championship pressure, and a fantasy round where the obvious picks were not always the best picks.

On track, Hunter Lawrence came away with the 450 overall after a huge second moto charge, going 2-1 and reclaiming the red plate from Jett Lawrence. Jorge Prado looked the closest he has been all season to a breakthrough win, grabbing both holeshots and finishing second overall with 3-2 scores. Jett salvaged third overall after winning Moto 1 but crashing twice in Moto 2.

In the 250 Class, Cole Davies kept his momentum rolling. The Kiwi went 1-2 to win back-to-back overalls, while Jo Shimoda’s Moto 2 win moved him into the 250 championship lead. Ryder DiFrancesco also had a major day, landing his first career 250MX overall podium with 6-3 finishes.

But in FastMoto Fantasy, RedBud was not just about who stood on the podium.

This was a proper value round.

RedBud Motocross 2026

Haiden Deegan was the highest-scoring 450 FastMoto rider with 68 points after turning a tough Moto 1 into a hard-charger masterclass. Carson Mumford topped the 250 Class with 69 points thanks to two strong fantasy motos, and users who found the right mix of factory stars, handicap value and hard-charger upside were rewarded in a big way.

450 Class: Hunter Wins RedBud, Deegan Wins FastMoto

RedBud 450 Pro Motocross - Jorge Prado with the Holeshot Bonus FantasyPoints

Hunter Lawrence’s RedBud win felt like a statement.

Moto 1 looked like it was going to be his after he tracked down Jett late, but a tip-over on the final lap handed the win back to his younger brother. Instead of letting that one get away mentally, Hunter responded in Moto 2 with one of the rides of the day.

Jorge Prado led early again after another perfect start, while Jett hit the ground twice and had to fight back through the pack. Hunter started outside the top five, worked his way forward, passed Haiden Deegan, and then started pulling Prado back from nearly 10 seconds down. With only a few minutes left, he made the pass for the lead and rode away to secure the overall.

For the championship, it was massive. Hunter now takes the 450 red plate into Southwick, with Jett only three points behind.

For FastMoto, though, the biggest 450 story was Haiden Deegan.

Deegan’s real-world 10-3 scorecard was good enough for sixth overall, but his Moto 1 recovery turned into serious fantasy gold. His +28 hard-charger score helped him rack up 42 points in Moto 1, then another 26 in Moto 2, giving him 68 FastMoto points for the round.

That made him the best 450 fantasy rider at RedBud.

Top 10 FastMoto 450 Riders — Fantasy Points

  1. Haiden Deegan — 68
  2. Mitchell Harrison — 64
  3. Roan van de Moosdijk — 64
  4. Garrett Marchbanks — 61
  5. Lorenzo Locurcio — 61
  6. Daniel Bortolin — 60
  7. Mikkel Haarup — 59
  8. Jorge Prado — 57
  9. Stephen Rubini — 57
  10. Bryton Carroll — 57

Roan van de Moosdijk was one of the biggest single-moto fantasy stories of the day. After a tough Moto 1, he came alive in Moto 2 with 52 points, driven by a huge +27 hard-charger score.

Mitchell Harrison was another excellent FastMoto play, scoring 31 and 33 across the motos for 64 total. Garrett Marchbanks stayed consistent with 61, while Lorenzo Locurcio again showed why he can be a sneaky handicap pick when he puts two motos together.

Jorge Prado was also strong from both a real-world and fantasy point of view. The starts were there, the race speed was there, and a 57-point FastMoto round kept him right in the mix.

The lesson from RedBud was clear: the 450 stars still matter, but the biggest fantasy separation came from riders who were moving forward, beating their handicap and turning chaos into points.

250 Class: Davies Goes Back-to-Back, Mumford Tops FastMoto

The 250 Class had plenty happening up front.

Cole Davies wins RedBud Pro Motocross 2026

Caden Dudney grabbed his first holeshot and led the early stages of Moto 1, but Cole Davies kept the pressure on and made the late pass to take the win. Jo Shimoda charged into third, while Levi Kitchen stayed solid in fourth.

Moto 2 flipped the script slightly. Davies looked set to control the race again, but Shimoda kept coming. He erased the gap, made the pass late, and took his first moto win of the summer. Davies still had enough with 1-2 scores to win the overall, but Shimoda left RedBud with the red plate.

Ryder DiFrancesco was another major headline. His 6-3 day gave him his first overall podium in the 250 Class, which was a huge career moment.

In FastMoto scoring, though, Carson Mumford was the rider who delivered the best total.

Mumford scored 33 points in Moto 1 and 36 points in Moto 2, giving him 69 for the round. That was enough to top the entire 250 FastMoto board, ahead of Dilan Schwartz, Shimoda, Brock Bennett and Keegan Rowley.

Top 10 FastMoto 250 Riders — Fantasy Points

  1. Carson Mumford — 69
  2. Dilan Schwartz — 66
  3. Jo Shimoda — 63
  4. Brock Bennett — 61
  5. Keegan Rowley — 61
  6. Cole Davies — 57
  7. Jonathan Getz — 57
  8. Ryder DiFrancesco — 56
  9. James Harrington — 56
  10. Parker Ross — 54

Mumford was the complete fantasy package at RedBud. He did not need a podium to be valuable. He simply put together two clean, productive FastMoto motos and cashed in.

Dilan Schwartz was another big value hit, scoring 29 in Moto 1 and 37 in Moto 2. Jo Shimoda’s race-winning day translated to 63 FastMoto points, while Davies’ back-to-back overall victory was worth 57.

The 250 Class continues to be one of the most difficult classes to predict. Davies, Shimoda and Kitchen are all legitimate title threats, but the FastMoto scoring keeps rewarding users who look beyond the championship front-runners.

whitesnake Wins RedBud with 563 Points

The Round 5 user battle was tight at the top.

whitesnake wins Round 5 RedBud Fantasy Motocross Round

whitesnake took the RedBud win with 563 points, edging Skywalker by just three points. Ernie was right there as well with 559, making it a proper three-way fight for the round win.

  7. Kenny326 — 547
  8. VinceC133 — 547
  9. Panda MX — 543
  10. KAMiKAZE — 541

This was one of those rounds where every pick mattered.

The difference between winning the round and finishing fifth was only 14 points. The difference between the top 10 and the rest of the pack came down to finding the correct value riders and avoiding the riders who got caught out by RedBud’s chaos.

KAMiKAZE’s 541-point round was especially important because it also helped move them up inside the overall Club Championship fight.

Club Championship: gityourown Holds On

The overall Club Championship is tightening up.

gityourown still leads with 7,155 total points, but Age made a move with a 533-point RedBud round and now sits only 62 points behind.

Tallon711 dropped one spot to third, Bucko57 climbed into fourth, and KAMiKAZE moved up two spots into fifth. The top five are now separated by just 133 points across SX, MX and SMX combined scoring.

Overall Club Championship Top 10

  1. gityourown — 7,155
  2. Age — 7,093
  3. Tallon711 — 7,069
  4. Bucko57 — 7,060
  5. KAMiKAZE — 7,022

  8. ratrat — 6,926
  9. jeffepstein420 — 6,921
  10. Jonsey — 6,920

rempel15 was one of the big movers inside the top 10, jumping six positions after scoring 536 points at RedBud. Jonsey also climbed six spots, while KAMiKAZE and bodhi812 both gained two positions.

The biggest mover of the round was Rip It Ron, who climbed 19 positions. That is exactly how quickly the leaderboard can shift when a user nails the right RedBud lineup.

New Zealand also took out Top Country for the round with a 525-point average, which feels fitting on a weekend where Cole Davies put the Kiwi flag back on top of the 250 podium.

Final Word

RedBud was a championship-shifting round in real life and a value-heavy round in FastMoto.

Hunter Lawrence reclaimed the 450 red plate with a clutch Moto 2 win. Cole Davies went back-to-back in the 250 Class. Jo Shimoda left with the 250 championship lead. Jorge Prado looked closer than ever to a breakthrough 450 win. Ryder DiFrancesco finally grabbed his first 250MX podium.

But in FastMoto, the round belonged to the users who found points beyond the podium.

Haiden Deegan, Carson Mumford, Dilan Schwartz, Mitchell Harrison, Roan van de Moosdijk, Brock Bennett, Keegan Rowley and Lorenzo Locurcio all played major roles in deciding the RedBud leaderboard.

With Southwick up next, the sand could throw another major curveball into both the Pro Motocross title race and the FastMoto Club Championship. gityourown still has the lead, but the pack is closing, and one strong team update could change everything.
